The Airpot with saucer offers an innovative solution for optimal plant growth. Developed in Scotland and made from recycled materials, this pot promotes excellent root development thanks to its unique structure with knobs and ventilation holes.

This design ensures ideal aeration of the soil, prevents ring root growth and improves nutrient uptake. The roots are directed towards the air holes where they are air-pruned, stimulating the formation of new, fine root shoots and thus promoting dense root growth.

How Airpot works

The shape of the pot wall leads each root to an air hole. The air dries out the tip, prunes it and stimulates the branching of the roots. The process is repeated until a mass of healthy fibrous roots has formed.

The air holes also ensure perfect drainage and aeration of the growing medium, creating ideal conditions for healthy bacteria to release more nutrients to the plant.

Assembly

The Airpot is supplied flat and is easy to assemble around the base. The outer sides have holes for ventilation, while the inner sides are closed. The pot is fixed in place with plastic fasteners. The matching round saucers made of high-quality plastic reliably catch excess water and are ideal for the Airpots. They are available in different sizes to suit different pot sizes.
