Battery Regulation
Because we sell batteries and such devices as contain batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Regulation (BattV) to provide the following information: Batteries may not be disposed of in domestic refuse; rather, you are legally obligated to return used batteries.
You can either send batteries back to us after use or hand them back locally, free of charge, i.e. in shops or municipal collection points. Batteries are marked with a crossed-out dustbin symbol as well as the chemical symbol of the harmful substance, i.e. "Cd" for cadmium, "Hg" for mercury and "Pb" for lead.
