With the Blumat Digital you can determine the moisture content in the substrate of your valuable plants very precisely. Its function is based on the ingenious negative pressure principle, which is also used in Blumat's currentless irrigation system.
Continuous measurement through clay cone sensor
You simply insert the Blumat Digital deep into the substrate, the clay cone sensor then starts measuring the moisture. If the soil needs water, liquid is released from the clay cone and the vacuum in the Blumat Digital drops. You can call up this value at the touch of a button. Each moisture sensor comes with easy-to-understand instructions for use and a table with moisture values. As the Blumat Digital does not consume any electricity during measurement, but only when you read the display, you can leave it in the substrate permanently. If you always water the plants in your grow at the perfect time, you can avoid damage to the roots and optimise your yields.
