Bokashi black soil, 1 kg
- plant-based slow-release fertilizer with biochar
- sustainable humus build-up
- natural raw materials
- strong soil-improving effect
EMIKO's Bokashi black soil is a sustainable slow-release fertilizer made from natural raw materials and organic charcoal. With this black soil, you can achieve enormous harvest successes even on actually weak soils.
The Bokashi black soil promotes the sustainable and lasting build-up of humus and thus provides the plants with a constant supply of all necessary nutrients.
Black soil, or Terra Preta, was fermented long ago in the Amazon region from organic matter, charcoal and natural microorganisms. Nowadays, it is possible to produce just as high-quality black soil with EMIKO's Effective Microorganisms.
Strong soil-improving effect
The Bokashi black soil has a strong soil-improving effect and ensures, among other things, the looseness of the soil, the storage of nutrients or the ability of the soil to retain water. In particular, the multi-porous structure of the charcoal provides microorganisms with an ideal retreat and living space.
The nutrients thus bound in the soil are only slowly microbially released and achieve a very long-lasting effect. The soil thus receives a good basic supply and usually only needs to be fertilised once a year.
High antioxidant power
Bokashi black soil consists of wheat bran, water and sugar cane molasses, as well as chicken manure and organic plant charcoal. Like other fertilizers from EMIKO, it is fermented with Effective Microorganisms to improve the soil (lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, photosynthetic bacteria).
The organic matter introduced into the soil in this way feeds all soil organisms and promotes their health and reproduction. The high antioxidant power of Bokashi black soil prevents degenerative processes and significantly revitalises soil life.
Organic matter is converted into humus and usable nutrients for the plant. The nutrient and water holding capacity is greatly improved, as is the aeration and structure of the soil.
Bokashi Black Soil is suitable for all types of pot and container plants, ornamental as well as useful plants.
How to use:
The Bokashi black soil has a low pH. Therefore, it should be applied 10 - 15 cm away from the plants. Otherwise, wait about 14 days before planting or sowing.
Basically, the application of 350 g Bokashi black soil per square metre of soil is recommended.
Making good potting soil:
- Mix 95% potting soil and 5% Bokashi black soil
- Enrich water with EMIKO soil additive and water until mixture is well moist
- cover well with fleece or jute bags
- Leave to mature for 2 - 3 weeks
Potting pot and container plants
- Add 15% potting soil to the pot/pot
- Pour in 15% Bokashi black soil and press down
- Enrich water with EMIKO soil additive and water
- cover thinly with potting soil
- insert the plants and fill up with potting soil
- water
