EMa Fermenter, 6,4 litres
- In-house production of larger quantities of EMa
- Complete with immersion heater
- Function fully automatic
- Easy to clean
This fermenter with a capacity of 6.4 litres is suitable forthe cost-effective production of larger quantities of EMa (Effective Microorganisms, activated).
EMa, like the initial preparation EM1, is an ecological soil additive and effectively promotes root formation and germination, flowering and fruit set. The composting is also accelerated by EM1 and EMa respectively.
Fully automatic function
The EMa fermenter is supplied including all necessary components for fully automatic fermentation of EMa. Only a power connection is required. The large lid makes the fermenter easy to fill and also to clean.
There is a sticker on each fermenter with the recipe for obtaining EMa and all the necessary information.
Recovery of EMa through fermentation
- Fill the fermenter halfway with hot water
- Stir in 3% of the sugarcane molasses until it is completely dissolved.
- Fill the fermenter with cold water until the mixture reaches a temperature of 35 - 40 °C.
- Add 3% of EM1 and mix the contents of the fermenter thoroughly.
- Fill the fermenter to the brim with water at 35 - 40 °C.
- Close the fermenter and connect it to the heater. Set the heating element to 34 °C.
- For fermenters with fermentation bung: fill with water up to the mark
- Place the fermenter in a warm place for 7 days
Cleaning the fermenter:
- Unplug the fermenter from the mains and empty it completely
- Rinse all internal parts thoroughly with hot water
- Clean the external parts with a mild cleaner (e.g. EMIKO all-purpose cleaner)
- Fill the fermenter halfway with hot water and add vinegar or citric acid. Then fill up to the minimum filling level with hot water.
- Turn the lid on the fermenter so that the heating rod is also disinfected.
- Allow the acid dilution to act for about 20 minutes.
- Drain the fermenter and rinse all internal parts again with hot water.
- If the fermenter is not to be refilled directly, first allow all parts to air dry. Only then close the fermenter again. Avoid contamination, cover the fermenter with a foil for storage if necessary.
- Rinse all internal parts with hot water again before the next use.
