The floss silk tree begins to flower in autumn, when most other trees slowly lose their foliage. It then produces flowers up to 15 cm in size, which are particularly striking in red and pink at this time of year. This fast-growing tree can be kept well in a container and overwintered indoors.
Giant Granadilla - Evergreen Climber
As an evergreen climber, the giant granadilla is a year-round ornament for home and garden. From the third year onwards, this passion flower blooms continuously from summer until late autumn. It develops impressive flowers with dark red petals and a purple and white striped corona. Under glass, with a bit of luck, you can even harvest delicious fruit.
Shoo-Fly Plant - Rapid Growth Outdoors
The shoo-fly plant can be planted outdoors without any problems after cultivation, as it is an annual and does not need to be overwintered. It grows very quickly and densely and produces countless light purple flowers after only six to eight weeks. If these flowers are pollinated, they develop into black seed pods that are shaped like lanterns.
