With the exotic plant propagation kit Plant Zoo you get more than just the high-quality seeds. The set includes six plant pots, a suitable substrate and detailed growing and care instructions. The packaging of the set is particularly clever and saves resources: During cultivation, it serves as a mini-greenhouse and creates the right climate for the young plants. Basically, plants of the exotic plant propagation kits like it rather warm and partly sunny.
Baobab - a living water reservoir
In Africa, the baobab tree is also called baobab and is known for its striking appearance and its sometimes very old age. It forms trunks with enormous girths in which water is stored. As protection against drying out, the baobab can shed its leaves if necessary without dying.
The Peacock flower - "Pride of Barbados"
The peacock flower grows up to two metres high, grows quickly and is usually very easy to get to flower. Its bright orange to red flowers are immediately eye-catching and it bears strikingly feathery leaves. The seeds of the peacock shrub are sometimes used to make dyes and ink in its countries of origin.
Easy-to-care-for veteran - the elephant's foot
Related to the yucca palms, the elephant foot is quite undemanding and very easy to care for. Originally from Mexico, the plant grows rather slowly, but usually becomes very old. Its name comes from the thickening on the lower part of the trunk, which is reminiscent of an elephant's foot. This tree can store water in its trunk, so if you forget to water it, that's not a problem for it.
