The right choice for hydroponics, drainage and potting soil aeration: With Frux clay granules, you can rely on a versatile helper that provides your plants with an all-round good base. For hydroponics, this expanded clay is a particularly easy-care option: the structure of the granules does not change, so the plants have a good hold and the roots are reliably supplied with water and oxygen. Another plus point: no mold can form in the clay granules.
More air, more oxygen and better growth with pure clay
You can also use Flux clay granules as drainage in plant pots: A two to four centimeter thick layer at the bottom of plant pots allows excess water to drain away more quickly, preventing waterlogging. Expanded clay is also perfect for loosening up potting soil: Simply mix 2/3 soil with 1/3 Flux clay granules to improve aeration and water regulation. In addition, the clay pellets prevent the soil from sinking in.
Tip: Expanded clay (LECA) is very commonly used as a drainage layer in Autopot systems!
