Clever control of temperature and humidity
For healthy plant development and strong flower growth, it is particularly important to maintain certain temperatures and a clearly defined humidity. In addition to supply and exhaust fans, you can also connect 2 different sensors to the FanBase EC+. An air humidity and temperature sensor is already included in the scope of delivery, so you can get started straight away. Via the menu, you can easily set the power for the fans in connection with the sensor and thus prevent the temperature or humidity in your grow box from reaching undesirable values. You have the option of setting different values for day and night.
Vacuum control via pressure sensor or fan control
A particularly useful feature of the FanBase EC+ from GrowControl is the guarantee of negative pressure in your growroom or growbox. As soon as a negative pressure is created, no more annoying odours can escape uncontrolled to the outside, but are directed exclusively via the exhaust air into the activated carbon filter and removed there. If you have a supply air fan and an exhaust air fan, you can use the controller to set the output of the exhaust air fan slightly higher than that of the supply air fan. This automatically creates a negative pressure and you are on the safe side with regard to odours. Of course, you can also connect a negative pressure sensor to the Fanbase EC+ and thus control the negative pressure regulation very precisely. For the power supply, you still need a 5V power supply unit with USB-A socket and min. 1 ampere power.
