The SON-T Agro HPS 400W high-pressure sodium lamp from Philips is a lamp which can be used for both the growth and flowering phases.
This flowering light features an approximately 30% increase in its blue spectrum compared to the Philips SON-T PIA Green Power. This allows the Philips SON-T Agro HPS 400W to be used for all phases of plant propagation. The fact that only one form of lighting is needed noticeably increases the efficiency of the grow room.
The Philips SON-T Agro HPS 400W also offers exceptionally high photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). In addition, like with the Philips SON-T PIA Green Power, the pressure in the discharge tube is increased. The Philips SON-T Agro HPS 400 W achieves an excellent light output of up to 150 lumens per watt (lm/W). Last but not least, the Philips SON-T Agro HPS 400 W impresses with just a 5% early failure rate over 18,000 hours of operation.
