The Philips ?Master SON-T PIA? technology in the Green Power series. A 400W HPS lamp especially for plant cultivation.
Green-Power lamps are perfect for assimilation lighting. This means that they support the CO2 absorption (=assimilation) for improved photosynthesis, which leads to faster-growing, overall healthier plants.
'sON-T PIA? (PIA = Philips Integrated Antenna) refers to the ignition technology used by Philips, which offers more reliability and a reduced rate of premature failure. Although the lamp, like all HPS lamps, is principally in the red-yellow spectrum, the ?Green-Power? range has a slightly increased output in the blue spectrum. That's what makes these lamps perfect for growing plants, as the additional blue light facilitates photosynthesis throughout all phases of the plant's life. For gardeners, this means that you can grow healthier, larger plants with the same level of energy consumption (400W).
Consistent illumination is highly significant in assimilation lighting. The Green-Power lamps have a high level of luminous flux stability during the lamp's lifetime.
Note: To operate this lamp, a ballast with suitable performance values (400W) is required, as well as an E40 bulb holder.
Tip: Never touch the glass parts of lamps with bare hands! The skin's oils can reduce the lifetime and luminosity of the lamp.
