The series for friends of organic cultivation - Alga from Plagron. Based on seaweed extract, Plagron Alga Bloom is more than a conventional algae fertiliser. The 100% organic formula is supplemented by a multitude of useful substances that enable optimal nutrient uptake and utilisation in the plant.
What's unusual about Plagron Alga Bloom as an organic fertiliser is its short working time and the fact that the use of a phosphorus-potassium preparation (usually indispensable in the late flowering period) is not necessary when using Alga Bloom. This saves money and makes life a bit easier. Of course, some plants may develop an increased need for phosphorus and potassium. Supplement with PK 13-14 (also available from Plagron) as needed.
The yields may potentially be somewhat smaller than with inorganic fertilisers, however organic gardeners swear by the positive effects that the Alga products have on taste and aroma. Especially popular for plants like culinary herbs, where It's more about quality than quantity.
In addition to the basic elements nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK), Plagron Alga Grow also contains trace elements, amino acids, and minerals, which ensure lavish and healthy leaf growth.
Note: Plagron Alga products were developed for use with soil and soil-like substrates.
For fast-growing, flowering plants, we recommend that you use Alga Grow in combination with Alga Bloom and the Universal preparations ?Power Roots?, ?Vita Race?, and ?Green Sensation?.
