Calcium and Magnesium Supplement for Soft Water and LED Grows
Plagron CalMag Pro ensures that your plants always receive sufficient calcium and magnesium – two essential secondary nutrients that are crucial for vigorous growth and flowering. A deficiency in Ca/Mg can occur, especially when using soft water (e.g., rain or reverse osmosis water) or in intensive LED lighting setups.
Effect
CalMag Pro specifically increases the concentration of calcium and magnesium in the nutrient solution, preventing deficiencies (such as stunted growth tips and leaf discoloration). Stable Ca/Mg levels lead to stronger cell structures, more robust stems, and improved chlorophyll formation.
Application
CalMag Pro is added to the irrigation water before the base fertilizers. Typically, up to 1 ml per liter of water (1:1000) is sufficient to enhance reverse osmosis or very soft water. The solution can be used with every watering – especially during flowering under LED lighting.
