Indoor Grow LEDs by SANlight

The company SANlight comes from Austria and supplies the worldwide garden industry for years with modern LEDs for various applications, from large greenhouse to small micro-grow in a Growbox there is something for everyone. The lamps are made entirely in Austria, are all splash-proof and have IP40 and CE certification.

Typical for SANlight is the simple and efficient design of the lamps. Due to the passive heat sink, the Grow LEDs, even the large models such as the EVO 5-120, have excellent thermal conductivity. This, of course, has a direct impact on efficiency: SANlight models easily achieve a value of 3 μmol/Joule. For comparison: A normal NDL comes only barely to the 1.6 μmol/J. In contrast to an NDL, the spectrum of SANlight LEDs is also precisely matched to the requirements of photosynthesis. Incidentally, due to the high proportion of light waves, the models are all ideally suited both for the growth phase and for a wonderful blooming phase.

Another advantage of the SANlight models is the low waste heat, which is reliably kept away from your plants by the passive cooling. In contrast to conventional lamps, the LEDs need up to 30% less exhaust air, especially in large plants can be saved a lot of money at this point. From below, the LEDs can be touched quite easily, but the upper side of the radiator is relatively warm, if you put your hand on it, it will be uncomfortable after some time. Compared with a NDL, on which you can easily fry a fried egg, but this is perfectly fine!

The exact life of the lamps has not yet been determined, but after 80,000 operating hours the lamps still reach 90% of the specified value. This is, even for high-priced LEDs, a very good value. Many cheap manufacturers give LEDs only the absolute life, but do not provide any information on the degradation of the chips, i.e. the decrease in efficiency. This is fortunately not the case with SANlight, the company also gives a guarantee of three years for each model.
